Akshat Hansaria co-heads the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practice at Svarniti Law Offices. Akshat has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Commercial Litigation and Arbitration disputes. He completed his law (B.A. LLB (Hons.)) from Amity Law School, New Delhi, and his Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Laws from London School of Economic and Political Science, London.

Akshat focus’ on multiple practice areas in commercial litigation and arbitration, both domestic as well as international commercial arbitration, insolvency, regulatory, employment.

He has represented clients in automotive, banking, civil aviation, defence, household goods and services, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, power, telecom sectors etc. He has also represented clients in high stake arbitrations involving not only large Indian conglomerates but also International companies from various countries, including, Canada, France, Japan, Italy, Netherlands, South Africa, Singapore, South Korean and others.

He has represented clients in various fora across the country, including, the Supreme Court of India, the High Courts at Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Allahabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kochi, Guwahati; various Tribunals, including the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunals at Delhi and Hyderabad etc.

His clientele does not only include Indian companies but also include large foreign conglomerates such as American Pharmaceutical Company, Canadian Telecom Company, French Energy Management Company, German Automotive Company, Japanese Pharmaceutical Company, Italian Oil and Gas Company, South African Pharmaceutical Company, South Korean Household Products Company etc.

Akshat also has extensive regulatory experience before various Tribunals, including Central Administrative Tribunal, National Green Tribunal, Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and others.
