Amit Mishra heads the Commercial Litigation Dispute Resolution Practice at Svarniti Law Offices. Previously, Amit headed the Dispute Resolution practice of P&A Law Offices for 10 years. His practice focuses on Policy advisory, International arbitration, commercial litigation and Investment treaty arbitration, primarily representing the Government of India. Amit has represented several Indian, U.S., European and Asia-Pacific corporations before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, Company Law Board and other tribunals including the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Board for Industrial and Financial Construction, Commission of Income Tax and Director General of Anti-Dumping.

Amit regularly advises the Government of India and other Public Sector Undertakings on their dispute strategy. He is a visiting faculty (seminar courses) at the National Law University Delhi and Jindal Global Law School.

Amit has been recognised by GAAR for his work in the Bilateral Investment Treaty Arbitration representing the Government of India Further, he has been a recipient of Awards from Legal Era, Legal 500, Chambers etc.

Besides working closely with the Government of India on several arbitrations, Amit has been actively involved with them in policy shaping and making effective representations before relevant ministries and their departments in the gaming and technology sector. Amit has also been involved in policy discussions and issues discussed by associations such as FICCI.
